Case 2 (11738): Breast Lift / Mastopexy

This 38 year old business owner consulted us about breast enlargement. Her sister was a satisfied patient and referred her to Dr. Graham. She exercised regularly and had no prior breast disease. She desired fuller breasts with better shape. She wanted a natural, not fake, appearance. Her history included having 3 children, breast-feeding and a 60 pound weight loss. These factors contributed to considerable sagging and meant that augmentation alone would not be a good choice. A breast lift would be necessary as well. She was 5' 6" tall and weighted about 150 pounds. Her pre-op bra size was 34C cup and she requested a fuller C cup. Her right was slightly larger. After trying-on sizers, she preferred implants filled approximately 300ml. She underwent vertical pattern (short-scar) mastopexy and augmentation with saline implants. Photographs show her pre-op and her early and later healed appearance. Scars have faded nicely. She maintained good projection and no longer has the high, round initial unnatural appearance.
